Self-adhered roofing underlayments are designed to protect homes from wind-driven rain and ice dams. Grace Ice & Water Shield’s proprietary and time-tested rubberized asphalt formulation enables a watertight bond with the roof deck acting as a barrier for both water and ice. Grace Ice & Water Shield® has shown the ability to maintain a watertight seal around fasteners used to attach roof coverings. In addition, our ice and water barrier offers superior watertight laps, which are critically important in keeping the roof dry and safe.
For applications with high service temperatures, choose Grace Ice & Water Shield® HT. It has been specially formulated to meet the service temperature challenges inherent in metal roofing systems, and insulated roofing assemblies.
Grace Ultra™ brochure
Grace Ultra™ roofing underlayment is designed to protect sloped roofs from the effects of wind-driven rain and ice dams in applications, where the membrane must withstand high in-service temperatures for extended periods of time. It is composed of two waterproofing materials – an aggressive butyl rubber-based adhesive, backed by a layer of high density cross-laminated polyethylene.
